Monday, June 20th, marked the first day of summer. Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year and it arrived at 6:34 P.M. This year, the first day of summer also brought along the strawberry moon. The strawberry moon is June's full moon and it hasn't coincided with the summer solstice since 1967. It won't happen again until 2062, so I hope you were able to fully enjoy it.Around 10 P.M. on Monday I looked outside and saw the pink colored moon in the sky. It was a sight to see. If you missed it you can watch it online.
Summer is here, the sun is out, the fruit is ripe and the moon is pink.
